Do’s
* Guard your anonymity – never reveal all your personal information
* Start slow – Take your own time to judge people
* Watch for warning signs – Is the person trying too hard to convince you, Can a stranger be so good to someone – Is it too good to be true, etc…
* Be careful about sending pictures to people you do not know well
* Meet when you are ready and catch-up in a safe place
Don’ts
* Never share your passwords, bank account details or other personal information online. It could be used by a complete stranger to find out even more.
* Avoid having a conversation with the person on various social platforms. For e.g; Use Shaadi Chat to break the ice, instead of outside chat platforms.
* Don’t put up with odd behaviour. Trust your instincts, avoid any person who makes you uncomfortable.
* Don’t use your personal information as your password and keep it confidential.
* Do not fall for people asking for monetary help, no matter what the excuse! You may be madly in love with the person, but let not money come in the way of your love.
